You don’t have to be a Latino to speak Ladino, …………… Ladino Alive and getting better

Read humorous stories, love poems and songs in Ladino. If you think our economy is bad today, learn how the language united the Jews in Spain and remained spoken in homes throughout the Mediterranean.
The first and second session will focus on stories of Djoha the Simpleton who has many mishaps. These stories are similar to Chelm stories found in Yiddish. The third and fourth session will introduce themes found in Ladino songs and the fifth session will focus on proverbs, dichos – humor me and laugh.
