
Join us at the annual Seattle Jewish Film Festival. this year, the SJFF will be screening 2 movies that focus on Sephardic Jews.
The first movie, Neighbors, takes place in the early 1980s and follows the last Jewish family living in a Kurdish village on the Syrian/Turkish border.
There will also be an in-person screening at the Seattle Jewish Community Center on April 2nd at 6:10 pm.

This year’s Sephardic Spotlight Film,1618, is based on a true story that follows Antonio Alvares during the inquisition. With a community in danger, Alvares outlines an escape plan.
This is an in-person screening at the AMC Pacific Place 11 on March 27th at 1:30 pm.
There will also be Sephardic coffee klatch from Batdorg & Bronson coffee and biscochos to-go after the show.
