The AJC Seattle Jewish Film Festival and the SJCC welcomes the entire community to the «Best of Fest» at the JCC featuring «My Lovely Sister»- «Achoti Hayaffa» on Sunday, August 12th from 2-4 p.m.

Blending Sephardic superstition, magical realism and an Eastern-flavored score, this charming and beautifully acted film about sibling rivalry and reconciliation is based on a Moroccan Jewish folk tale.

This 2011 Israeli film directed by Marco Carmel is 91 minutes, in Hebrew and Arabic with subtitles, and winner of the Israeli Academy Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. Mature content (PG-13)

Cost: Adults: $8: 65+ and youth under 13: $6.
