As we approach the Jewish Holiday of Shavuoth, let us pause and reflect on the challenges we face and the gifts we have received. Our world is increasingly challenging, as we, as Jews and, especially, as Greek Jews, face conflicts in the secular worlds we live in. We are forever grateful for the gift of the Torah, with its wisdom and strength, to guide us through troubled times. Don’t forget our annual Greek Jewish Festival this Sunday May 6 and our special International Greek Jewish Shabbat this weekend on May 4-5 (details below).
