Genealogía Sefaradí

No es mucho el material disponible para quienes quieran investigar su genealogía de origen seferadí. Por eso, el libro de Jeffrey S. Malka tiene el mérito adicional de ser una de las pocas publicaciones disponibles en la materia.

Jeffrey S. Malka, M.D., es autor del sitio Resources for Sephardic Genealogy y desarrolló la sección sefaradí del foro JewishGen siendo además autor de artículos sobre genealogía sefaradí en Etsi, el periódico de la Sociedad histórica y genealógica. y autor de varios capítulos de la guía Avotaynu  de genealogía judía.

Descendienet de una larga línea de rabinos , el abuelo del Dr. Malka’s fue el rabino mayor de Sudan entre 1906 y 1949. Es ciruijano ortopédico retirado y profesor asociado de esa materia en Georgetown University, estuvo a cargo del departamento de cirujía ortopédica en Inova Fairfax Hospital de Virginia.
