During this vegetarian potluck dinner, Don Shapiro will play his Kinnor, or King David ten string harp, in a preview of his musical segment in Sunday evening’s Café Sefarad.

11:20am-12:30pm  Hebrew Poetry of Spain in Translation: a Dramatic Reading. Original Idea, Selection and Translation of the Poems: Héctor Contreras López; Directed by Salomé Martinez-Lutz, with Monica Rodriguez, María Herrera, Sandra Marroquin-Evans and others

12:30-1:30pm  Enchilada Lunch

2-3pm  Telling Our Stories: Four Personal Journeys

3:30-4:30pm  Expressive Writing: A Workshop on Healing Through Writing: Héctor Contreras López with Hershel Weiss

5-6pm  Sharing of Stories from Expressive Writing Workshop

6:30-8:30pm  Café Sefarad: Tapas, Paella and dessert by Paella Olé.  Sephardic music by Stephanie Sofie Shefia Cohen (vocals), Neil Manel Frau-Cortez (guitar and vocals), Sheila Fox (clarinet, piano and vocals), and Don Shapiro (Kinnor or King David 10-string harp).
