Estreyikas d’Estambol is the only children’s choir that sings Sephardic music in Judeo-Spanish.
It is made up of children from 8 to 14 years old whose purpose is to prevent Judeo-Spanish culture from disappearing in young Sephardic generations.
From Istanbul they travel the world and share the rich and beautiful repertoire of “kantikas” that they inherited from their parents and grandparents and sing at parties with their beautiful young voices.
