Alberto Nahmias (1905-1984) fue un futbolista y atleta griego de ascendencia judía romaniota que jugó para el Iraklis. Fue uno de los jugadores más destacados de la selección griega de fútbol de la década de 1920 y un miembro irremplazable del Iraklis F.C. y de la recién creada selección nacional de fútbol de Grecia.
Jugador clave del Iraklis, ayudó al club a ganar su tercer campeonato regional en 1927. También fue uno de los jugadores seleccionados para el primer partido internacional de Grecia contra la segunda selección de Italia. El partido se celebró en Atenas el 7 de abril de 1929 y Nahmias marcó el primer gol de la selección nacional en el minuto 60, igualando el partido a 1-1. Grecia finalmente perdió 1-4.
Además del fútbol, Nahmias era atleta de atletismo, destacando en los 100 metros, los 400 metros vallas y el relevo 4×100 metros. Sus actuaciones le permitieron clasificarse para los Juegos Olímpicos de París de 1924, pero su participación fue impedida por SEGAS, que se negó a permitir el viaje de los atletas macedonios a París por motivos económicos.
En 1936, fue elegido uno de los 19 atletas de Salónica que participaron en el primer relevo de la antorcha olímpica.
Durante la guerra greco-italiana, Nahmias fue reclutado junto con otros 12.898 judíos griegos. Regresó a Salónica tras ser herido en la frente.

Alberto Nahmias (1905- 1984) was a Greek football player and athlete of Romaniote Jewish descent who played for Iraklis. He was one of the most prominent of Greece’s football team players of the 1920s and an irreplaceable member of Iraklis F.C. and the newly established Greece national football team.
A key player for Iraklis, he helped the club win their 3rd regional championship in 1927. He was also one of the players who were selected for Greece’s first international game against Italy’s second team. The game was held in Athens on 7 April 1929 and Nahmias scored the first ever goal of the national team in the 60th minute, leveling the match at 1-1. Greece eventually lost 1-4.
Apart from football, Nahmias was a track and field athlete, excelling in 100 metres, 400 metres hurdles and 4 × 100 metres relay. His performances allowed him to qualify for the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris, but his participation was prevented by SEGAS, which refused to allow Macedonian athletes to travel to Paris due to financial reasons.
In 1936, he was chosen as one of the 19 athletes in Thessaloniki who participated in the first Olympic torch relay.
During the Greco-Italian War, Nahmias was drafted among the other 12,898 Greek Jews. He returned to Thessaloniki, after he was wounded in the forehead at the front.
