The Seattle Sephardic Network presents Your Wishes in Heaven (Tu Boca en los Cielos), a newly-released documentary in Spanish with English subtitles about Rachey Muyal, an 87-year-old descendant of Sephardim expelled from Spain in 1492 who delivers a handwritten letter to the tombs of Catholic Monarchs at Granada. The letter takes us on a journey covering 500 years of coexistence enjoyed by the Jews in the lands of the Maghreb (Morocco, Tunisia, & Algeria). Via video, Director Miguel Ángel Nieto Solís presents a special introduction to the film for Erensya 2019. Run time: 56 minutes, with open discussion following the screening.
