Memorial services for the Zehirah of the Jews of the Island of Rhodes

The Sephardi communities of Cape Town and Johannesburg remember the 28th of Av by holding memorial services for the Zehirah of the Jews of the Island of Rhodes who were deported to Auschwitz in 1944. Many of the Sephardi congregants are children of Sephardi Jews who came from Rhodes.
