The World Union of Jewish Studies announces the the 13th International EVA/MINERVA Conference on Advanced Technologies for Culture. The conference will include four sessions on digital Jewish Studies organized by the World Union of Jewish Studies.

The conference will take place on Wednesday-Thursday, 9-10 November 2016 at the Van Leer Institute in Jerusalem. WUJS sessions will be held on Thursday (November 10). Entrane to the second day of the conference and to the Union’s lectures is free of charge but requires registration.

We would also like to remind you that if you have not yet paid your membership dues for 2016, you can pay them on-line. The Union is a nonprofit organization that does not belong to any institution. Your support allows us to promote research and academic exchange in Jewish Studies in its many associated disciplines, both in Israel and internationally. The World Union of Jewish Studies organizes the World Congress of Jewish Studies and other conferences and publishes books and the periodical Jewish Studies. Therefore, we kindly ask you to arrange your paymentfor 2016. The dues are $55 for regular members and $40 for retirees without a research fund and students, $90 for a couple and $65 for a couple of retirees/students. Members who have paid their membership dues are eligible to receive volume 51 of Jewish Studies and previous volumes without additional payment. כנס דיגיטציה ומדעי היהדות 

אנו שמחים להודיע על קיומו של הכנס הבין-לאומי ה-13 של אווה/מינרבה בנושא דיגיטציה של מורשות תרבותיות, במסגרתו יתקיימו ארבעה מושבים שיאורגנו על ידי האיגוד העולמי למדעי היהדות בנושא מחשוב ומדעי היהדות

הכנס יתקיים בימים רביעי וחמישי 10-9 בנובמבר 2016 (ח’-ט’ במרחשוון התשע»ז) במכון ון ליר בירושלים כאשר המושבים של האיגוד יתקיימו ביום חמישי (10.11, ט’ מרחשוון בתמוז). הכניסה ליום השני של הכנס, בו מתקיימות הרצאות האיגוד, חופשית אך מותנית בהרשמה מראש
