In Memory of Dr. Sarah Halimi, HY”D, a French Sephardic grandmother tortured, murdered, and defenestrated in Paris by an Islamist, who the French judiciary has unconscionably refused to bring to justice, preferring instead to pre-emptively exonerate him on the basis of a cannabis-induced high. The Combat Anti-Semitism Movement (CAM), Moroccan Americans in New York (MANY), and the ASF launched a campaign advocating #JusticeforSarah in September. Alas, France’s Cour de cassation, the highest court of appeals, recently ruled that Halimi’s attacker will never stand trial. CAM and the CRIF are organizing a rally against this flagrant injustice today at 2PM in Paris.
