The Museum of Sefardi and Anousim Heritage at Netanya Academic College to be Built

The Institute for Sefardi and Anousim Studies at Netanya Academic College has announced plans for a museum to convey 500 years of Sephardi Jewish history through a “Paseo Sefarad” or time tunnel. The museum will highlight the impact of Spain’s Jews on overall Jewish civilization, and also reflect the experience of Anousim—Iberian Jews who were forcibly converted to Christianity yet secretly remained faithful to Judaism for generations. The project will also include a research library and music center
