On Sunday, November 29th, Kehila Kedosha Janina is honored to host Professor Steven Bowman as he presents his latest book, “The Agony of Greek Jews, 1940-1945” at a special book signing.
“Despite the nearly total obliteration of Greek Jewry in World War II, the Holocaust in Greece has been virtually ignored in historical literature in the English language. Bowman’s volume, based on decades of research and deep familiarity with the region, its complexities, and its personalities, is an important corrective to this great gap.” Professor Jane Gerber, CUNY Graduate Center.
“The Agony of Greek Jews, 1940-1945” is a beautifully bound hard cover volume, an important addition to any library. Professor Bowman will be signing all purchased books. Although the publisher’s suggested resale price is $55, Kehila Kedosha Janina will be offering this book for $40.
