The Conference on Judeo-Spanish Studies is an international scholarly forum for faculty members as well as graduate students preparing doctoral theses on Judeo-Spanish Studies. We invite you to submit abstracts, maximum two hundred words, for papers to be presented at our next conference. Papers should not have been presented or published elsewhere and should not exceed twenty minutes. Whilst our emphasis is on literature, papers on Sephardic related topics are also welcome.
The conference will take place from Monday afternoon 2 July to Wednesday evening 4 July 2012. The conference will be held this year at the Naime and Yehoshua Salti Center for Ladino Studies, Bar-Ilan University, Israel. We have not reserved accommodation on site and we advise you to plan arrival for Sunday 1 July. A list of recommended hotels in Tel-Aviv area will be sent to you in due course.
Please put your name, academic institution and academic title at the top of the abstract, and your contact details at the end of the abstract. Whilst any queries should be directed to Dr. Susy Gruss (hubgruss@inter.net.il) abstracts should be sent directly to Prof. Shmuel Refael (Shmuel.Refael@biu.ac.il), no later than 1 November 2011.
