This event is dedicated to the memory of Rosina Karako Smeraldi, co-founder of The Sephardi Federation of Palm Beach County.
Our two special guests are among the leading champions in the world for the preservation of Ladino.
Writer Rachel Bortnick spearheaded the foundation of the international chat room, Ladinokomunita, while Argentine singer Liliana Benveniste, with husband Marcelo, co-founded the world-wide esefarad.com website.
They will speak about current international Ladino preservation activity and entertain us with personal stories and songs.
Their visit is a rare opportunity and will surely be one of the highlights of our season!
