Esta es la historia de tres jovenes cantantes de Grecia, Turquía e Israel, que se embarcan en una avetura musical para contar la historia de tan conocida como amada cantante griega que aparece por primera vez en cine.
Se trata de un recorrido que nos llevará desde Estambul a Salónica y a Atenas siguiendo la senda musical que ella recorrió.
Se trata de un recorrido que estuvo oculto por mucho tiempo pero cuyo sonidos continúan resonando en la cuenca del Mediterráneo.
La canción en el trailer se llama «Ela Na Se Kano Makia» (Ven y dame un beso) grabada por Eskenazi en los años 50’s en Estambul.

Roza Eskenazi sang the way she lived, with passion, fire and love.
This is the story of three young musicians from Greece, Turkey, and Israel, who embark on an exciting musical journey, to tell the story of Greece’s best-known and best-loved rebetiko singer for the first time on film.
It’s a journey that will take them from Istanbul to Thessaloniki and to Athens, following the musical trail she left behind. Most of all, it’s a journey into a world that has largely vanished, but whose sounds continue to echo throughout the Mediterranean Basin.
The song in the trailer is called Ela Na Se Kano Makia, Come and give me a kiss. It was recorded by Eskenazi during the 50’s in Istanbul.
