David Raphael Ben Abraham Polido

Satírico, floreció en los siglos XVII y XVIII. Su nombre, y el hecho de que su obra fue impresa en Livorno, sugieren que era italiano, pero Somerhausen lee (¿Polonia?) en lugar de (Polido/Pulido),  mientras que Steinschneider lo interpreta como «Fulda». David escribió: «Zikron Purim» (recuerdo de Purim), una parodia sobre la piutim para la fiesta de Purim, seguido de un testamento de Amán, un poema completo de burlas, pero una buena imitación de los piutim sefardíes (Livorno, 1703) . Delitzsch da 1736 como la fecha de su publicación.

His name, and the fact that his work was printed in Leghorn, suggest that he was an Italian; but Somerhausen reads (Polonya [?]) instead of ; whereas Steinschneider interprets it as «Fulda.» David wrote «Zikron Purim» (Remembrance of Purim), a parody on the piyyu?im for the Feast of Purim, followed by a testament of Haman, a poem full of coarse jokes, but a good imitation of the Sephardic piyyu?im (Leghorn, 1703). Delitzsch gives 1736 as the date of its publication.
