The Sefarad Museum will be a dynamic cultural and educational center that brings to life one of the most significant periods in the history of the Jewish nation, acknowledging the profound impact of the Jews of Spain on Jewish civilization. The Sefarad Museum will also reflect the experience of the many Jews of the Iberian Peninsula who were forced to convert to Christianity during the late Middle Ages (the “Anousim”), yet secretly remained loyal to their ancestral people and religion for generations.
How Can You Be a Partner? “Take a Seat”!
The Communities Auditorium of the Sefarad Museum will bring together hundreds of Sefardi communities in one major endeavor that will be centered in the national Sefardi museum in Israel.
We invite your community to join our “Take a Seat” campaign and become a major player in the national Sefarad Museum for generations to come.
Each of the 360 seats of the Communities Auditorium will be sponsored by different Sefardi communities from around the world. For a sponsorship of $1,800, a plaque will be created that represents the sponsoring community that includes a photo or other image and description of the community.
